Lisa is an accomplished and versatile leader with a rich and diverse background spanning over two decades. With a career dedicated to guiding and empowering C-suite business leaders, she has become a trusted advisor and advocate for people and risk solutions. Her clients are public and private companies and middle market private equity firms across the US and globe.
Lisa specializes bespoke solutions for self-funded employer-sponsored health plans, complex property casualty programs, and M&A transaction advisory along with Reps&Warranty/D&O/Tax/Environmental liability insurance. Lisa is active in the Houston business community and currently participates in the Human Resources Leadership Network, Executive Women Leadership networks, and Association for Corporate Growth organizations, and as the Chair of the Southern Chapter of Women’s Association of Venture and Equity. For Lockton, she leads Lockton's Elite Women Producers program, exemplifying her commitment to fostering recruitment and leadership within the organization's growth initiatives.
Philanthropically, Lisa believes in giving back and supports charitable organizations focused on improving the lives of children and young adults, healthcare, and education. She currently serves on the Board of Advisors for Baylor College of Medicine and on the Board of the FEI Houston Scholarship Foundation.
In addition to a portfolio of insurance industry experience, Lisa also offers the valuable perspective of business ownership. For 15 years, she was responsible for operations and finance as the owner and officer of her own retail company and, in 2002, joined fashion shoe designer, Donald J Pliner, as Director of US Retail Operations, overseeing operations of eight stores across the US generating $30M in revenue.
Lisa holds an Associate of Applied Science from Lamar University with continued studies in Process Operations and Business Administration. She lives in Houston and enjoys entertaining friends, art, and golf and building relationships across the world intertwined through professional and personal connections – all never more than 2 degrees of separation.
