Arturis is an audit partner in the Houston office with 17 years of experience. As an audit partner Arturis has served clients of various sizes in the upstream oil and gas, automotive, and chemical industries. Prior to becoming an audit partner Arturis completed a 3 year rotation in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice DPP) in New York. DPP provides technical support to domestic and international operating offices and their clients in addressing and resolving complex accounting, auditing, reporting and SEC related issues. DPP is also responsible for developing firm positions on accounting and audit related matters and is the principle vehicle for enhancing the professional development of KPMG partners and employees. Before going on rotation, Arturis spent nearly a decade serving various clients in KPMG Houston’s Energy and Industrial Markets practices.

Arturis has provided professional audit services to several large multinational corporations in accordance with PCAOB requirements, U.S. GAAP, and IFRS. His audit experience includes servicing clients from the oil and gas, oil field services, power and utilities, information and communication, and automotive market sectors, as well as servicing governmental departments and bureaus. He has a thorough understanding of SEC rules and regulations and has been involved in several debt and equity offerings.

Arturis has led several complex global audits for clients in a variety of industries. He has experience in coordinating with several international KPMG offices simultaneously to serve a multinational client as well as experience managing several audit engagements concurrently.

As a KPMG local and national instructor, Arturis has instructed such topics as KPMG leadership, audit methodology, technical accounting, in addition to oil and gas industry related trainings. Arturis has also presented technical topics to external audiences of varying sizes. Arturis is actively involved in the firm’s diversity initiatives, campus recruiting and is a member of the firm’s Global Liaison Partner Program and the Revenue Recognition Network. Arturis has also been a key contributor in several of KPMG’s publications.
