THE FOUNDATION
The Houston Chapter of Financial Executives International, a prestigious organization of senior-level financial executives, recognized high-performing college students were abandoning their studies due to financial hardships.
At inception in 1970, the chapter created the FEI Scholarship FOUNDATION to support higher education and training in the fields of finance and accounting. The Foundation provides non-discriminatory scholarship funds to needy and deserving students attending accredited colleges and universities in the Greater Houston/Galveston area.

Most academic scholarships only cover the first year or two. But financial strain peaks in junior year — right when students are close to completing their degree. Many walk away.
That’s where we step in. Our scholarships support finance and accounting students in their final year — when they need it most.

We empower outstanding accounting and finance students enrolled in accredited universities across Southeast Texas by offering annual need-based scholarships and connecting them with influential mentors in the local business community. Our mission is to foster future financial leaders through personalized support, ethical guidance, and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals.
